SECURE THE BORDER
Under the Biden Administration we are facing the worst border crisis in the history of our country. Since he took office there have been over 8 million illegal crossings at our southern border, including nearly 2 million got-aways.
AFP believes we need to secure the border now because it is essential not only for national security and upholding the rule of law, but to safeguard the rights of American citizens. Without border security, every town becomes a border town, every state becomes a border state.
AFP is advocating for consequence-based policies where people who do not qualify for humanitarian relief are swiftly removed. These changes in policy must be complemented with better infrastructure at the border—a combination of walls in strategic locations, modernized surveillance technology to swiftly identify border crossers, and enough Border Patrol agents to apprehend individuals who cross illegally.

VISIT THE BORDER WITH AFPF
Retired Chief Patrol Agent, Chris Clem, speaks to Americans from the border in Yuma, Arizona about the importance of securing our borders.
Since 2023, the AFP Foundation has taken over 200 Americans to the border towns of Yuma, Arizona, and McAllen, Texas, where they talk to people on the ground ( Border patrol agents, farmers, local business owners, NGO volunteers, and even migrants, themselves) so they can see how dire the border crisis is with their own eyes.
Only about 16,000 officers guard the 1,954-mile-long southern border. This is not enough to handle the overwhelming flow of migrants trying to cross the border daily.
America’s security depends on the safe and lawful entry of people and goods. To achieve that, we must attract and retain more Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel, build roads along the border, erect barriers in strategic locations, and employ state-of-the-art technology to monitor our border.
INTERESTED IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE?
Enough is enough. Tell President Biden that you’re concerned about the safety and security of American citizens. Americans expect the President to work with Congress to take urgent action on simple fixes, including constructing more border wall, improving conditions for border patrol agents, and increasing personnel.
